As you prepare yourself for serving in Swaziland take a few minutes to read the post below. I pulled this from the blog of Matt (Jumbo) and Kriek Gerber, who lead our ministry team in Swazi.

Kreik Gerber , "I don't want to say too much; I want to let the pictures do the talking. But we do want to share some of the joys of serving God here in Swaziland.
"You do what you have promised" said by a gogo when we take food to her care point…
Shy little ones coming to you wanting you to pick them up because they are finally getting used to you and starting to trust you…
The excited and friendly faces and waves of the children at the care points when they see the "mulungu's" (white man's) car pull up…
Having a little vulnerable one falling asleep on your lap…
Getting home all dirty and dusty…
Buying bags and bags of maize meal and beans, loading it unto the trailer and dropping it off at the care points...
All these things make our hearts feel good. These are our joys of serving in Swaziland; it makes me want to say, "This is why we are here!"
Yes, I guess we are living our African dream, but like our friend Lisa said, "This is only the beginning of the African dream."
